Foundation&Development Squads Notice

The lead coaching staff and assistant coaches for the Foundation and Development Squads are; Steph Brown, Lesley Gilbert, Abi Sloan, Katie Sloan, Martin Gaskin and Fay Webster.  Steph Brown will oversee the personal development of these 2 squads. At no time will swimmers who are not qualified be asked to teach any of the swimmers in these Squads without a qualified coach being with them during any session.

The poolside helpers are there to help the coaching staff and learn only, not to teach.
All poolside helpers need to ask Steph Brown and Lesley Gilbert where they are needed and they will provide the necessary guidance.
It’s great that we have a lot of helpers but, for the swimmers personal development, it is down to the qualified coaches to provide the appropriate instruction.
Thank you
Head Coach Richard

Sunday 24th Squad Assessment Day

For all Squads; Foundation, Development, Midland Potential, Junior Elite and National Potential, the main focus was looking at skills and fitness levels and it was a pleasure to see a massive improvement on the fitness and ability of all swimmers. Well done swimmers and coaching staff for all your hard work.  The Coaches have done a great job on the swimmers development going forward.
Those swimmers who have gained promotion will start with their new Squads on Monday 1st of April and will be notified by their Squad Coaches.
Thankyou for everyone helping out yesterday – Head Coach Richard.
