A group of 34 swimmers representing ISC competed at the DASA Long Course Sprints, after a late night Arena final the night before. The swimmers didn’t lose their focus, with improvement on skills throughout the meet, especially on starts and finishes. There were more regional times gained throughout the day, with some really impressive times achieved, and an introduction of mixed relays for the first time for 13yrs/under and 14 yrs/over with more impressive results. The 13 yrs/under took Silver in both the freestyle and medley relays in a closely fought race for Gold.
Freestyle Team: Erin Pickard, Erica Beharall, Fred Buckingham and Finley O’Neil.
Medley Team: Erin Pickard, Fred Buckingham, Eja Coe and Finley O’Neil.
Stats for the meet were; 17 medals won, 21 top 6 places and a 64%pb rate achieved.

Fred Buckingham – Gold 50 brst, Bronze 50 fly&50 free, Silver free & medley relays.
James Wright – Bronze 50 breast, 50 back and 50 free.
Finley O’Neil – Silver freestyle and medley relays.
Arwen Moore – Bronze 50 free and 50 fly.
McKinley Cotton – Bronze 50 fly.
Erin Pickard – Silver freestyle and medley relays.
Erica Beharall – Silver freestyle relay.
Eja Coe – Silver medley relay.
There were also awards picked up on the day by Eja Coe for Inter-Counties selection and McKinley Cotton for Junior Grand Prix top girl.
